What is seated massage?
Seated massage is a type of massage where the client sits on a
specially designed chair while the massage is being performed. This
unique design allows the therapist easy access to the five most
common areas of tension and stress: the neck, shoulders, arms, hands
and back. The chairs unique design puts you in a position that
relieves tension even before the therapist starts working.
What to expect during your
seated massage?
You will remain fully clothed for the twenty-minute session. You sit
on a specially designed massage chair with pads that fully support
your face, chest, arms, pelvis and knees. Acupressure techniques are
used on your back and head, Swedish massage strokes, such as petrissage (kneading) are used on the arms, neck, shoulders and
hands. Your session will end with several minutes of the Thumper
Professional Body Massager working your back muscles.
